Maybe if you actually got hit by the coin you'd change your opinion (My dad got hit). I blame royalexile for sitting in his seatAthleticoSpizz wrote:I was too busy watching (and enjoying) the actual game to be bothered with all of that
Then report it and make an official statement. Nothing is achieved through whining on a message board. If enough people make a complaint the football club will listen and if need be review policy.Tilehurst Blue wrote:The stewards say they're not interested with the away fans and it's the home fans they keep an eye on, I saw the coin throwing incident today though and not one of them did anything. Cheers m8. I think the official policy was probably to wait for the twats identified to exit onto the concourse before dealing with the incident. Though we will never officially know.BenReadingFC wrote:Maybe if you actually got hit by the coin you'd change your opinion (My dad got hit). It's the only place where people stand for large sections of the game given the chance. Y25 do it a lot as well, but not as much, because more of them are season ticket holders and the sanctions are therefore greater. Also, it's harder to get into Y25 as it's more packed out with season ticket holders.Big Foot wrote:Noticed at Half Time a number of fans had been ejected and were being filmed in the cage out the back of the East Stand.
Don't know what the appeal of sitting in Y26 actually is, loads of agg from the stewards who seem intent on creating a documentary of you each game and not the best of views either.
Because I like to stand and this is the only area of the ground with a significant number of people who share the same desire. Am I less likely to be hassled by stewards in other areas of the ground?Big Foot wrote: Don't know what the appeal of sitting in Y26 actually is, loads of agg from the stewards who seem intent on creating a documentary of you each game and not the best of views either.
I would say so.Jerry St Clair wrote:Because I like to stand and this is the only area of the ground with a significant number of people who share the same desire.
