They've played two games in the week already. They won both, but didn't look great in the championship. First league home game the pressure will on, crowd expectant, especially after we sold Shane.

For us, Brian will foster a siege mentality. Massive point to prove now. I can see Jobi having a stormer, and Mills a 'mare. Didn't he get sent off v Doncaster?

I feel that it can be the same result too. I have just watched Japan including Yuki Abe of Leicester have beaten South Korea 3-0 in Sapporo tonight.
Abe played last 25 min only, but 12 hours flight back to England await on Thursday, so he may start from the bench on coming Saturday. He played all four matches Japan played in World Cup in South Africa as a holding midfielder. He is not big guy, but knows well about where the danger area is.
I am looking forward the match up of Leigertwood VS Abe.

you may well be right.


Trouble is, IMO it's almost like a cup game, a one-off full of unknowns, could be almost any score. Mind you I would want odds of 4-1 to back Reading to win

Not a prediction, but I'd be VERY happy with a draw.

I think we are going to struggle for a few games until
we get the defence sorted. If we can manage three
draws and a win from our first 4 games, that would be OK.

I think this is a better time to play Leicester. Less time for the team to gel, lots of pressure from fans on opening home game.

Still expect us to lose though; they have a quality squad.
