I think, given the circumstances surrounding your almost obligatory match attendance home and away with corresponding method of match ticket purchasing, there are two words for this:- vested interest.Compo's Hat wrote:Personally think they should have taken away all the points pre relegation from the Premiership. what about the hardcore fans that travel from outside the county for the games and who can't que up at the ticket office?66DD wrote:I've said it before and I still think it's valid. The priorty should be for those fans who are prepared to queue up at the ticket office to get their tickets. Anything else makes it too easy for plastics who are not prepared to sacrifice work and family committments to get tickets to jump the queue at the expense of the hardcore fans.
I'm a touch unclear why you think that I don't have a season ticket. In fact I live about 100 miles from Reading I have a season ticket and rarely miss any game; home or away. That doesn't mean that I agree with the system that the club has for selling away tickets though.Friday's Legacy wrote:what about the hardcore fans that travel from outside the county for the games and who can't que up at the ticket office?66DD wrote:I've said it before and I still think it's valid. season ticket holders should always have first dips at away and cup tickets. they are the ones that are prepared to cough up the lump sum at the beginning of the season. yes when we are promoted, whenever that may be, there will be johnny come lately's who buy a season ticket, but you like them have the choice to do so too.
then, for as long as we have a points system in place, they should get second dibs, in order of royalty points.
Yeah nice one, I live 100 miles from Reading and travel to every home match as a STH. I also had a job do would be unable to queue uonger 09.00 on a Tuesday morning. So I don't get to go to any priority games then?66DD wrote:I've said it before and I still think it's valid. It's unlikely that I would either, but it will allow local fans supporting their local club priority, which has got to be good for the game hasn't it?Wizard wrote:Yeah nice one, I live 100 miles from Reading and travel to every home match as a STH.
