This is turning into a flame war following me round the forums.

But as I've already explained, to me the question read as a "What are the pubs like round here" than a "What pubs should I drink in". And it is a magnificent Wetherspoons, I stand by that. Fantastic conversion of a former bank. Yes it's a wetherspoons, but I did call that out, leon won't be going there under false pretences.

And whilst I've had better days, a couple of people did seem to enjoy the chat on micro brewing, (which you very much a part of so thanks for that), and I've enjoyed the discussion about pepper mills so it's been mixed rather than bad all told.
