We wouldn't ask a penny for him would we?

If somebody is mad enough to take him off our wage-bill, they can have him.

I may be the only one but I think we should hang onto him if we can. He has flair. He has skill. But what do I know? I liked Matejovsky too!

If Hammond gets a sniff of money you know he'll screw every last penny out of them.

Lightning doesn't strike twice, but given that he managed to get £500,000 for Andy Hughes, I do half expect a £5 million fee to be announced for Drenthe any minute.

When he was warming up on the pitch at Ipswich on Saturday with a bib type thing on, he looked like one of the Dusty Bins that used to come on during 3-2-1.

With his past pedigree, he should have been a shoe-in starter for us at this level.
The reason why he isn't playing is there for all to see when he gets off the bench.
In spite of the months that have passed by since his arrival, this so-called professional sportsman cba to get properly fit.
Get rid.

Sadly true, can't understand it personally. If you look at the physique of most professional athletes they are virtually without body fat. I know everyone's shape is different etc but he really should look leaner than he does as a sportsman.

File under (from a purely RFC perspective James Lambert, Byron Glasgow), and to a degree, someone like George Best.
Natural talent, in itself, is not enough to attain what you truly can become.
Without drive, direction, and application, it is utterly useless.

If he was that key then he'd have featured recently. His argument with, and blatant disrespect for Andy Crosby at M'Boro was where he lost my support. Fair enough he wants to play and wants to win, but there's a way to do it, and you need to be a team player and NOT an individual; and Drenthe is an individual! It doesn't matter what quality he has, he appears disruptive and difficult to manager, and if he left this window I would be happy to see the wage bill reduce significantly as a result.

Any chance we can revive this rumour? And make it happen.

I heard he'd fallen out with Crosby because he wouldn't play as he was asked. Or something. I like Drenthe and I do feel that he should be given at least one more chance to prove himself. But if Adkins thinks he can do ok without him, who am I to give an opinion.
