Yes we lack confidence, and nothing is running for us ATM, but there is real quality in the team and, providing the confidence doesn't plummet, we will come good, and we'll put five or six on a couple of the bottom-half teams. If we lose to Leeds and Sheffield, I guess Stam could get the chop, but after today, I hope not. We came up against a VERY good Championship team today, a team with a smattering of class, Premiership experience, and a solid system, a team who played the perfect away game for their fourth straight away win. We will play worse and win games.

I hate to agree with you but the same thing could be said of Bristol, Brentford, Hull and Millwall. We just aren't getting the results, they were worse teams. Last season we were winning those games, this season we're losing or drawing them. I think it's more team selection and tactics than confidence. You don't start a home game after not winning for a while, with no striker.

Why do people bother debating some random scoring. It's not like it's some official system where Beerens stats are 4 or 7 FFS.

Someone offers some opinion on how players performed, if you don't agree with it either post your own scoring or return to your sad life with your own private score.

Snowball, agree Norwich played the game well and looked a solid team. Standard away performance of go goal up, put ten behind the ball and leave an impressive Jerome to cause trouble up front

But as way as a comparison, Boro had something like 20 shots on goal against them in midweek, and they are playing pretty sh1t, where we managed 6 I think it was

and technically 1-2 is better than 0-1

Decent first half much improved on Hull, but still with some terrible decisions and passes.

Must remember Norwich have a very capable defence.

You don't have to post if it bothers you that much, its not compulsory. I'm happy with my comments and assessment of Beerens, he was awful today.

First half we were ok. As in not great but not terrible. Slightly more attacking intent. We at least got back into the game when 1 down.
Second half we were dreadful. Just dreadful. How Macleary and Beerens finished that game I do not know. They contributed nothing. Aluko at least tried to create something.

This style of football is at its core totally negative. The idea of Stam's approach is to wear out the opposition by getting them to run around after the ball and then beat them in the last 20 minutes.

Not constant possession looking to overrun teams with attacks. No, holding onto the ball in a war of attrition.

This style of football is killing us. The team look totally lost.

Kelly is trying to do too much and comes across as a bit frantic and headless.

Blackett can't run, can't stop a man and can't play a simple pass.

Beerens may as well not have been there.

McCleary was anonymous in the first, but coming alive when he was sadly subbed.

Moore was very good.

McShane was solid except for the time he was outpaced, outmuscled and outthought by Jerome.

Players were getting angry at each other. Not a great sign.

Really?! Pundits reckoned wall and he were set up dead right for the free kick and it was just a great free kick.

Don't think the corner was placed anywhere near him for the second, so not sure how he could have flapped at the cross. Central defenders and Blackett were at fault there.

Not true. Bodvarsson came up to us in the ED stand. We applauded him.

It's not his fault the manager doesn't think we need to play with a striker.
