Terrific ground and a good away day too.John Smith wrote:I know we are meant to have a faux rivalry with Fulham but I can't help but to like them. Their playing style is good, they have a lot of decent players and the manager was a good player and a likeable bloke. They're giving it a real go and deserve to stay up.
Brighton's time is coming up, they can't hit a barn door and that could well cost them. From what I hear about the problems internally at Newcastle the players are revolting against Bruce which is the last thing you need in a relegation scrap with 10 games to go and I think they will go down.
Very interesting. Who is bottom now then?Pepe the Horseman wrote:Wigan have dragged themselves out of the relegation zone. Amazing effort from them, they should have been dead and buried by now.
Bookies have Newcastle favourite to be relegated (apart from SHU and WBA of course) at 8/11 with Fulham at 5/4 and the next being 20/1 (Burnley)Winston Biscuit wrote:17. Newcastle 28pts -20GD

Just four points off top with a game in hand. Decided to have a few quid on them to win the league at 4/1, so sure they'll start to tail off now...URZZZZ wrote:Bolton’s recent record really is remarkable! Picked up 32 points from the last 36 available in the league and have risen from somewhere amongst lower mid table to one point off the automatics in just the space of a couple of months!
Made some decent signings over the summer, with Doyle a top league 2 striker so I also thought they’d be up there - shades of our 11/12 season although they started their good run earlierPepe the Horseman wrote:Just four points off top with a game in hand.
