An NDA is a contract entered in to, usually for money. Are the club going to spend good money to keep him quiet? I doubt it.

I think he may have missed the boat re explaining the rationale as I suspect NDAs have now been signed.

With hindsight, perhaps when questioned after Tuesday's game, rather than 'never been to Hull' a better response might have been: 'I understand that another club may have made approaches and, given everything that has happened and is still happening at Reading, together with the uncertainties regarding the future, I will need to carefully consider my options'.

I'd pretty much guarantee they will. They've obviously done it with others and, given the circumstances, the cost involved would be relatively small. Additionally, many employers will have NDAs in the initial employment contract (folks dig yours out and have a look), so formally reinforcing that with a further agreement (for a small consideration) is really just a belt and braces job.

Expressing personal fears and reservations wouldn't be breaching an NDA. So he could, for example, say; 'I feared that we were going to lose many of our best players during the January window, leaving us with an even smaller squad and me and my coaching team with an impossible task'.

It was 7,073 for their game against us last season and 6,224 for Birmingham this season. They did have 8,158 for their League Cup game against Aston Villa in September.

It's only a betrayal if you're led to believe different.

They're all professionals. They all know the deal. Managers don't last long and if a club at a higher level come knocking with more money, virtually the whole lot of them would do the same thing and go, ownership shitfit or not.
