There is a momentum behind the campaigns to get terraces returned to football with David Cameron now including it as prospective future Conservative government policy. Leaving aside any political comment please...if the club were to agree to introducing terraced areas where would be the preferred location? I am assuming on the grounds of safety that the West Upper is excluded along with any proposed stadium extensions.

Labour said exactly the same thing pre-1997, nothing happened.

I would be a big fan of seeing the bottom half of the East stand becoming all standing.

Sadly, I doubt we'll ever return to the good old days, even if it can be made safer, but you never know.

Surely there's room for both - and that is what this is all about - choice.

There are some who prefer to stand, there are some who prefer to sit, but at the moment there's no choice. People have to sit.

And what's even worse is that those who won't sit are spoiling the enjoyment of those who can't stand or are too small to see.

I am sure Mr Mad is already planning the changes. The momentum of 69 votes will hae swayed him.

Again it is all about choice... as long as people choose to agree with the vociferous posters. If there were to be an area I would like it to be in a traditional behind the goal area and I would want to move my ST. I reckon it should be at pitch side so our increased volume will be maximised. Of course it might not be fair as it would mean many being relocated and this would impinge on their choice.... And if the majority view were for standing then the whole stadium should be standing bar the upper west....

It won't happen and those who are most voluble will need to learn to act as adults and not toddlers...

If, and that and thats a big if, RFC agrees to a standing area, there is absolutely NO way that its going to be anywhere near the away end seats. Christ theres already teen dickheads that go running up to confront the away supporters now, with seats in place. Imagine the trouble generated every match without seats. It'll be carnage! plus i would imagine RFC would get in trouble for it.

It'll be better either in the North or the north end of the Lower West, but most probably it will NEVER EVER happen
