Brian - Martin Allen famously flew to the wrong country in error whilst on a scouting mission for Reading. Has anything like this ever happened to you?

Brynjar - As a player who can play in more than one position do you have to take part in more training sessions with the coaches than a player who only plays in one position?
Nicky - How's the accademy going? Has Premier League status helped us to attract youngsters who might otherwise have been lured away to Southampton or Palace?
Nicky - Goalkeepers are renowed for having safe hands. The board obviously wanted a safe pair of hand looking after the footballing side of things, however every goalkeeper makes a blunder now and then. Have you made any blunders as DOF? (Perhaps failing to sign someone you viewed as overpriced who then turned out to be world class??)

What do you do all day long if there's no contracts to negotiate and the transfer windows closed?
How does acquiring players work at Reading? Does Steve come to you with a list of players and say "want that one" and then its down to you to do the job or does everyone sit round the table and help JM look for his wallet first?
Did you ever read the Hapless Hammond comic strip in Taking the Biscuit fanzine (or was it the Whiff)?
