Lol - remember at the beginning of the year when all those pundits were going on about how they thought SU were going to do just fine in the Prem and stay up. SUre- REading and Watford were going to go straight back down but Sheffield United were sure to stay up because it was going to be SO hard to win att Bramall Lane.

I think fault lies quite squarely on Colin's shoulders. I thought it was obvious that about mid-season he just seemed to lose interest in what was going on. You no longer heard about any of his rants- he never was losing his cool anymore- he just seemed to be operating on auto-pilot because he knew he was going to be leaving.

Only shame is that I've always enjoyed our games against them - the three points were always greatly appreciated.

They have a cup final to play next week which believe it or not is more important to them than who stays up out of West Ham, Sheff Utd or Wigan. It was 38 game season so leaving it to the last day isn't Man Utd's fault - its your own, sorry!

I've spent most of my life willing Man Utd to lose (sad, I know) and the buggers never do. So on the one occasion I wanted them to win to send West Ham down they mess up. D'oh.
