I don't think it's fair to say that as we haven't played any games yet.

You get points for playing games, and seeing as we haven't played any yet you can't expect us to have any more than zero points.

Where we are in the league is thus only a reflection of where we are alphabetically.

To suggest we sack the board because our town begins with the 16th furthest letter in the alphabet (compared to others) is a bit harsh IMHO.

Hmm. i really hadn't considered looking at it this way until your thoroughly challenging post. The board needs more of this kind of incisive commentary.
