Amazed that more people seem to be unhappy about the cost of footy, was going to go to the home game against Chelsea, however £35 put me right off.

I would think £38 to see the future Champions is top value.

At last some positivity ! Although personally I think we are more likely to clinch a UEFA place than actually win the league.

I go to watch Reading, not the opposition. I don't care how good the opposition are. In fact I'd rather they played rubbish.

If I'd wanted to watch Man Utd I'd have done what 99.9% of their fans do and watch them on tv instead.

Why the surprise, all AST's get the best seats. That is the whole point. Plus it will be £33 anyway, as that is the equivalent price for the same seating at OT for home fans

I'm pretty certain that at the last league game at OT, the ASTs got the cheaper seats first, and the more expensive ones were sold last. I didn't think that the South Stand had enough away seats to satisfy all the ASTs anyway.

Nope, most definitely paid the most expensive ticket price on my AST last season at every ground. As I say, AST's were given the best seats available before then going on sale to member points. I was in the top tier at Chelsea about eight rows from the front and these were the more expensive tickets

The excellent news is that you can, AND you can choose what class of ticket you want (£38, £39 or £47 - although it does say dollars so perhaps you could argue the toss at being charged in pounds ). Lovely stuff, if it all works as it should it'll make this season a lot easier.

Got to go to this one as I haven't missed an opening day fixture since Hartlepool away in 1992 and only missed 2 since 1980.

Only took 2 minutes over the phone to get a ticket though....

It would appear tickets are available online saving me a trip down to the stadium.

I'd expect that the 400 point barrier would go before this sold out, being a Sunday and with the vast majority of people having been to the league or Cup game means it won't sell quickly.
