its simple really, - would have cost me 38 pound plus petrol, plus i cant get ticket for girlfriend on my membercard, so would be driving up alone

i didnt go to the reading festival last year, so i was able to afford our first away game at villa

It's the champions at Old Trafford, the Theatre of Prawn Sandwich Fillings, and it's £38.

Mainly it's on the telly, so no, it isn't a huge surprise we still have a third of our allocation remaining.

Tickets - £76
Train (from Leeds!) - £30
Beer - £30
Food - £20
Taxi - £10

Total cost of seeing Reading most likely lose = £166. Off on hoilday in 2 weeks, that money is unfortunately spent better elsewhere..

When a trip to football just across the pennines costs that much, then really what is the point? It's a shame, as last year I desperately wanted to go, but could not get a ticket...

Over the past few years I have been to all sorts of away games and loved it. Rotherham, Sunderland, Boston, Oxford etc

Last season I went to none.
This season I will quite likely go to the same number.

It is a personal boycott of silly prices. I support the club by buying STs for my family. If I don't wish to be fleeced for games which are now more expensive [and often less exciting] then I will exercise my right to choose.
If home prices rise any more I will seriously consider giving up STs and just go occasionally - or even give up watching RFC.

Anyone who really believes their support is valued either by the players or the club needs to kick the drugs.
Player loyalty is non-existent - aside from badge kissing to convince mugs to cough up dosh to pay their inflated wages....

Ive just rang up the ticket office to see how many tickets are left for man utd on sunday and there are just under 1000 left.I find this quite disapointing because we should be selling these tickets easily and besides its the first game of the season
