Can't national FAs nominate anyone to fill their european places? If so and the taffs win the cup (LOL) can't the Welsh FA give them their UEFA cup spot?

I don't remember Cardiff championing the cause of the likes of Shrewsbury and Hereford to be able to play in the old cup winners cup in the event of them winning the Welsh Cup.

Sadly you raise a valid point. I am half Welsh (and proud of it) but when Hereford and Shrewsbury won the Welsh Cup they were not allowed into Europe because the Welsh FA did not want an English team representing Wales. In the circumstances the English FA should not allow Cardiff to enter as an English representative. I would add the Welsh FA are dead against Cardiff being allowed to go into Europe so they are being consistent.
I also disagree about the Welsh national anthem being sung. As much as I love it this is the English FA Cup and it should be about clubs and not countries.
As for the point about Cardiff City fans they do have an appalling minority, I have been to Ninian Park for an FA Cup tie with Oldham and after the match the atmosphere was menacing and unpleasant. They have a larger minority of idiots than most clubs but they are still the minority and spoil it for the rest.
The anti English stuff does exist (in sport) but its to be expected when a much smaller nation lives in the shadow of a much larger, more powerful and more affluent neighbour. The anti English thing tends to happen in a sporting context, ie David v Goliath, 3 million v 50 million but in day to day affairs I do not think for one minute the Welsh are anti English.

So you think they are representative of the Welsh population in general? Come off it they are extremists and in no way represent the mass of the Welsh population.
