Depends on prices.
As my wage has to pay for a whole family it is a bit of a dent in my income! If we are relegated I will renew if there is a [substantial] drop in price. If we stay up I may if prices are held.

I will ditch my ST with regret. However, I reckon I pay a greater % of my disposable income to RFC than MR M..... and I won't see any profits from the SKY cash either!

I was an STH in the lower league so it has nowt to do with relegation. I am sick of being fleeced to pay exorbitant wages to players. In the 1980s I gave up going to football and stayed away until 1999 as a protest against price rises etc. I may do the same again.

And yes - I know that my 'protest' will not be noticed. But perhaps fans organisations should be using their clout to persuade fans not to renew until the very last day..... brinksmanship and hard bargaining might see fans getting a fair[er] deal.

But when it comes to it, dammit, that's my seat, which I choose 10 years ago this month and which is around the group of people I've been sat with for nearly every match for 10 years.

Is this the same Dirk that kept pointing out to me that it wasn't my seat, when there was the prospect of losing it in the stadium expansion, and that I should be happy to move anywhere in the stadium as the view is the same

yes, as i dont pay for mine, its usually a Christmas present from my grandparents. But I think I would anyway, because its something to do on a saturday, and there isnt anything else quite like a football match.

Hijacking the thread a little bit here, but as Im off to uni next year, I would prefer to have an away season ticket and not renew my home one as I can't afford it, is this possible?

My ST's will be renewed, however i'll not be the one paying for them or going to the games

I made my mind up at the start of the season that this would be my last as the round-trip travel and expense (time and money) is now getting too much. I shall be taking up a seat at Edgar Street next season, to watch some league 1 footie.

I do know, however, that my seats will be going to a good cause.

Stay in the pub and put the £500 odd towards a few sessions instead - Probably what i'm gonna be doing regardless of whether we stay up or go down.

Not really, when you are paying Premiership prices, for supposed Premiership football I think you have a damn good right to moan if the football is shit. I can accept it in the lower leagues because your dealing with worse players who don't have the skill levels to be any better. We are supposed to be one of the best 20 teams in the country yet we seem totally incapable of passing a ball more than 5 yards (at a push) or putting a decent cross in.
