at anyone expecting Rangers to come out and play though, they've had an excellent season so far based on traditional pragmatic British footballing values of running, closing down, shouting, pointing, and working hard. Not that I'm knocking it mind.

I seen the zenit fans, and would say they did create a good atmosphere and noise. However, Rangers didn't seem to create much passion from what I seen. Obviously there were bits where they did, but mostly they were just sat down on their hands.

Outnumbered the Russians by a fair bit but the Zenit fans created a far better atmosphere in the ground.

Rangers fans must have been drinking Carling piss compared to the Russian vodka which got them going.
