It had to happen the way Burnley players seemed intent on picking up yellows despite the incredible leniency the ref showed towards them in the first part of the game!

I left early. Doesn't bother me, just as long as its in the right end. Im used to missing goals for a variety of reasons, seems to be a habit! We were 3 up at HT once & i missed them all!!

Sounds good being outside the stadium when we score. Sounds well loud. Would be great to hear the roar when we scored a late winner.

Have only left early twice, for the Watford game at the end of 06/07, and the West Ham game early last season, as we were losing comfortably. In fact in the West Ham game i could see them scoring a third goal before we left, and we heard their 3rd goal go in as we were walking down the hill..

Wouldnt want to leave early otherwise if we're winning or if games are in the balance as I've got a habit of missing goals when im watching matches (in general, not Reading) on TV! Had we gone to the Villa game last season rather than watching on Sky we would have missed Shorey's goal, but can't think of any others. Given the time it takes to get to the game and the fact don't get to many games per season i dont like the idea of leaving early and would really regret missing us scoring.

Because on many occasions they are badly managed??? Though TBF, there is not room far the fans, let alone all those stewards. Same as how sometimes they allow standing in the disabled area and passage at the end and sometimes they dont.

There's a simple solution - when thousands of people are funnelling into a 6ft wide passageway, don't stand in the passageway, thereby, reducing it to a 4ft wide passageway.

Was talking about concourses (sad i know) last night. MK Dons have the best i've seen in relation to free open space. Now the fact that our concourse area is not the worst and as with bowl designs there is often hugely congested aisles when supporters exit t the end of a game, it amazes me that this aspect it not controlled as well as it could be.

Often the inherrant problen is that the upper and lower areas of the stands are inhibiting each others egress. The upper parts of each stand being ground to a halt while the lower aspects of the stands exit first. I'm surprised the upper areas do not ave an alternative route out of the stadium.

God forbid we have a full emergency evacuation where the element of panic and disregard for others is the hidden ingredient.

Obvoiusly to get the Fire certificate to allow the stadium to remain open - the ground meets the requirements to gain the safety certificate, but with a full house the only side of the stadium with reasonable access to the concourse is the West Stand.

People jumping down the seats to get out, elderly supporters will struggle, the fact there is no dog legs in the aisles to prevent a full on rush and crush to the exits are factors that could aid crush injuries.

In an emergency situation the pitch would be an escape route from teh lower section of the stand, so the whole crowd dynamics would be different.

But that still wouldn't aid a full on rush to the pitch. For instance should there ever be the worst case scenario, a specific location for a threat would not nescessarily be communicated.

In those instances, collateral damage to save the majority is the usual course of action.

As it was I eventually found a bus back into town, paid £2.30 again (I paid the same to get there!), and spent 40 minutes sat on the bus watching idiots ask the driver endless questions before paying.

Cut a long story short, I got back to the station at 1805 and missed the train.

I know, started walking towards Parson street station, and was worried as I hadn't checked the times going back. I was thinking that the 1800 was the only train for about an hour or so, and was a bit anxious. Seen a bus stop where as bus was due in 5 minutes. The driver said it goes to Temple meads and takes about 25 minutes. Over 40 minutes later, still on it and majorly fecked off.
