First question is a new name for the stadium. What would you call it??

The Madejski Stadium.

Unless the new chairman decides to build a new stadium I see no reason for changing it, besides JM will have it in the small print that it remains the Madstad.

Now renaming the stands might be in order.

I suspect that would depend on how reasonable such a covenant was. Manchester University has partially bankrupted itself because nobody noticed that there were covenants on some old building that it planned to sell prohibiting their sale to be used for any reason other than for educational purposes.

You can't change the name of the stadium simply because the Chairman moves on.
The stadium has been the Madejski Stadium for almost 10 years. Why change it?

Even ignoring the fact that John's earnt the memorial to his stewardship of the club. I can't imagine anything MORE "plastic" than renaming the stadium because he's gone.
