The Wetherspoons directions on FGG are misleading. Pass the Pennycomequick and go straight up the hill.The pub is on the junction at the top, about 3/4 mile,the ground is on the right, a five minute walk.

Bad news regarding Plymouth tickets.

Went to the ticket office and, as usual, asked for tickets at the back so I can stand, only to be told that the back 6 rows are reserved for families.

Unbelievable.

I hate to stereotype, but I suspect most families are fully paid up members of the "sit daahn" brigade, so I'm resigned to a tap on the shoulder about, oh, 20 seconds after kick off.

Whilst I suspect most people will be going down and back in a day, for anyone who's planning to stay for the weekend Plymouth Aquarium really is worth a visit. We did it back in the 2004/5 season when we played on Tuesday night down there (admittedly, stopping down for a Tuesday night game probably made more sense than for a Saturday afternoon one).

Going by their pricing policy:

Adults £24
Under 23's £16
Under 18's £7
Over 65's £16
Family ticket (one adult and one child) £26

I assume you could get away with a 23 year old and a 17 year old.
