For matches such as this, there is always an "air-lock" system - there are ticket check barriers outside the away turnstiles, and supporters are searched and have a ticket check there, and then only allowed into the "air-lock" one at a time, so no way can anyone jib their way in without a ticket that way.

Two came on pitch during the game one of them to smack a Preston player but was caught by stewards. Coins and objects were thrown at the Preston scorer as he made his way back to the tunnel after being sent off.......nice

As you've spotted there is quite a difference between saying thousands of ticketless Brummies won't get near the ground and saying no one without a ticket will get near it !

Thousands travelling will be obvious to BTP, WMP and TVP. One bloke hoping to get lucky with a spare is a bit harder to spot, and isn;t going to casue a problem.

Don't patronise me. You implied that all those without tickets (i.e. thousands of ticketless Brummies) wouldn't get near the ground - you were asked how this would be implemented but didn't respond and now you're saying that BTP, WMP and TVP will be checking EVERYONE's ticket?
