It wasn't handshaking on the touchline!Sun Tzu wrote:Stuff LI seems to work becasue most people appear to actually go to the rugby to have a good time.
Whereas too many people seem to go to the football to find something new to moan about !
Top class fight at the rugby, did all 30 manage to get there in time to have a go ? And all dealt with by 2 yellow cards and handshakes all round. Top entertainment.
Perhaps we could play the muppets theme tune just before they read out the cardiff team like they did to us at Ninian Park. We should also play our national anthem.FiNeRaIn wrote:Apparently the cardiff fans have been given wind of this and have something in store to take the piss on weds, you heard it here first.
This bit made me LOLlive on the microphone to up to 24,000 fans!
What was there great piss-take? Did they think they were mocking us by not really making much noise until they scored?FiNeRaIn wrote:Apparently the cardiff fans have been given wind of this and have something in store to take the piss on weds, you heard it here first.
I thought my ears were going to bleed. If they think some kid screeching down the mic is going to encourage the crowd to "back the boys & make some noise" any more than they already do, they're totally and utterly wrong. In fact, there seemed to be a moment of eerie silence straight after that girl did her bit. It's RUBBISH. Please stop it RFC.Terminal Boardom wrote:Last night was the worst by miles. Why do the club do it?
Out of interest, do the kiddies team also have to pay to be there?AthleticoSpizz wrote:and SHAME ON READING FC
They issue a kiddies team with RFC flags to wave when the teams enter the pitch.
Then usher them off.....having firstly grabbed the "expensive" flags back![]()
Surely to let them keep them..... to wave incessently for 90 minutes would be .....seen as far too generous....FFS Reading
