Did Enkleman touch this then? Or should the ref have given a corner?

Cant blame the ref for giving the goal because of Enckleman's reaction, but studies have shown he did not touch the ball and therefore should be a corner.

My beef is with goal kicks. The rule on this changed years ago for some reason. You previously had to take the goal kick from the side it went out, but now you can take it from any side. Cue goalies who take them from the left all game, but when they are winning 1-0 with 5 minutes to go they suddenly fancy taking it from whichever side is furthest from where they are standing or where the ball is in non-multiball games. Referees can do nothing about this, but I see it as blatant time-wasting. Bring back the old rule I say.

Idea was to speed up the game, mainly more on parks football where the ball goes behind the goal and the keeper should technically run to the side of the goal that is closest.

I'd argue frequently is completely inaccurate. Goal kicks can lead to goals too. Although I agree with the spirit of what you're saying.

I fyou want to compare how often a goal kick leads to a goal and compare it to how often a corner does then I suspect you'll have to concede that corner's DO frequently lead to goals !!

Frequently means 'often' or 'regularly' so I'm scratching my head at how little football you must watch if you think that they NEVER do !!
