You've got to wonder what kind of impression the fact we've gone through 5 Chief Execs in little over a decade sends out to the rest of the footballing world and what impact it might have on our 2018 world cup bid.

Most telling thing I'e heard recently is from Graham Poll (I know!) on the radio, when he said what rubs people up the wrong way is the FA's badge with "The FA" on it. often remarked upon when he met up with other football associations with his official blazer on.

This just comes across as arrogant (even if there is no intention to it) to other associations and surely this can't help the 2018 cause?!

Granted there are institutionalised problems in running the FA and working with the clubs, but I'm appalled at the e-mail sent out by Whatmore after some info was leaked. He goes into hissy fit mode and threatens that if he finds out who did it, he will ruin their reputations. This is, plain and simple, appalling management technique and vividly suggests to me that Whatmore wasn't up to the job.

Part of the e-mail, as quoted by BBC Sports website: "I don't know which sad person thought to brief yesterday but we know it had to be from this list as you are the only people who received it ... If I ever find the person who leaked the briefing then I will ensure that that person's reputation is damaged beyond repair".

Anyone know anything about him? When I look him up all I get is "Alex Horne, British Comedian."
