There have been prem scouts sniffing around, but I can see him in the championship next year with or without Leeds. He reminds me a lot of Zamora.RoyalChicagoFC wrote:Are they gonna have a hard time keeping Beckford in the squad, or is League One hotshot reckoned, in the final analysis, to be just about the limit of his excellence?
Hasn't he already signed a pre-contract with Everton?PieEater wrote:There have been prem scouts sniffing around, but I can see him in the championship next year with or without Leeds. Why? Are they getting promoted to the Premier League as well???Hungerford Bee wrote:Based on having seen all the condenters for promotion except Huddersfield, I think that you will be visiting Carrow Road, The New Den and either the County Ground or the Valley next season.
Well obviously earlier in the season I was looking forward to your return trip to Griffin Park with your tail between your legs as you returned to your normal habitat and the natural order of life was restored. Unfortunately it looks like we will have to have Palace or Watford as poor substitutes instead.Mr Angry wrote:Why? I totally agree with Norwich/Millwall; they look like 2 teams who have really pulled the stops out, whereas Leeds just look to have stopped! The play-offs will be interesting, and I genuinely hope The Swine go up; it will be good to have a couple of local derbies next season.
Dis'greed - you can have Huddersfield instead.RG30 wrote:Here's to Leeds getting their promotion campaign back on track and me having a "home" game next year in West Yorkshire
Bitter, much? Since our move to the Madj we have by far outgrown clubs like Brentford anyway. 2nd tier should be our natural level for the forseeable. You'll do well just to remain in the 3rd.Hungerford Bee wrote:Well obviously earlier in the season I was looking forward to your return trip to Griffin Park with your tail between your legs as you returned to your normal habitat and the natural order of life was restored.

This was mentioned last week, but he's signed for Everton hasn't he?AthleticoSpizz wrote:be careful what you wish for

Stop playing after he realised he could get more money in the summer.
Didn't even let Leeds cash in on him in Jan.
Hope he snaps a leg before he gets his move...
I can find nothing on it, but sure it was announced that he signed a pre-contract agreement with Everton. Can't have happened.AthleticoSpizz wrote:not sure about that, but, Beckford is not up to Evertons quality
Non of our players were not trying.Harpers So Solid Crew wrote:Smoking Kills Dancing Doe wrote:Beckford's a disgrace.

Much like some RFC players last summer, not the leg thing tho
Some of us have already been to Elland Road with 'ding more than once - and on a personal note, it'll never trump the LC win in Nov 97:RG30 wrote:already been to the galpharm with 'ding.T.R.O.L.I. wrote:Dis'greed - you can have Huddersfield instead.RG30 wrote:Here's to Leeds getting their promotion campaign back on track and me having a "home" game next year in West Yorkshire
