The organisation is ran by a bunch of money-thirsty politicians. Would never happen.Messiah wrote:They can look into all they like, you have to convince the FA first.LoyalRoyalFan wrote:I have always backed the introduction of a safe standing area. Right, so I'm still at a loss with your post above.LoyalRoyalFan wrote:The organisation is ran by a bunch of money-thirsty politicians. I understand that, but you said "I think the club should seriously look in allowing Y25/26 to become a standing only block." and I can't see how that'd make an ounce of difference when it's not up to them.LoyalRoyalFan wrote:The FA should be ran by former players etc. Not businessman or politicians.
To be honest, I don't really know how you would go about implementing this system. I would of thought that the club would have a big say in it though.Messiah wrote:I understand that, but you said "I think the club should seriously look in allowing Y25/26 to become a standing only block." and I can't see how that'd make an ounce of difference when it's not up to them.LoyalRoyalFan wrote:The FA should be ran by former players etc. Not businessman or politicians.
The club have no say in it unless the FA decide safe standing can be implemented, and that doesn't seem very likely.LoyalRoyalFan wrote:To be honest, I don't really know how you would go about implementing this system. Actually it's the government who need to change the legislation covering the Premier League and Championship first. The regs are issued by the Department for Culture Media & Sport and enforced by local authorities under the supervision of the Football Licensing Authority.Messiah wrote:They can look into all they like, you have to convince the FA first.LoyalRoyalFan wrote:I have always backed the introduction of a safe standing area. Yes, last night. I'm writing a strongly worded letter to both Clive Doyle and The Guardian as we speak.Magnus wrote:Let me ask you then Big Foot - do you feel your safety has ever been comprimised at the Mad Stad?
Heaven help you should you ever visit a football club that hasn't been named family club of the year.
Hung parliament, Lib Dems support safe standing, jobs a good 'un.Russell Street wrote: Once the election has taken place and we know who is in power, then the campaign will know who to target.
That would get us in a right mess....LoyalRoyalFan wrote:The FA should be ran by former players etc. Not businessmen or politicians.
