It has hoops and no back panel, I assure you.Barry the bird boggler wrote:And hoops, not holding my breath for either though.
Cos RFC isn't a 'football' club anymore - it's a money making machine and shamelessly wants to extort every penny from the humle fan.Archie's penalty wrote:Why are they changing the kit again? What's the pucking foint? Will people actually buy the new one in the middle of a recession?!?
I just sent all my reading shirts to the recycling place.Dennis the Butler wrote:Just got last seasons home shirt for a tenner ... that'll do for me ... may even break out my old Autotrader one too !!
When are you buying the new Chelsea shirt then?John Madejski's Wallet wrote:I just sent all my reading shirts to the recycling place.Dennis the Butler wrote:Just got last seasons home shirt for a tenner ... that'll do for me ... may even break out my old Autotrader one too !!
Feels weird chucking them all out
With spin like that, you ought to be in politics! Or maybe you are Mr Salter!!Ian Royal wrote:It's quite simple really. Some people seem to want a new kit every year so the club obliges. Those who don't want a new one each year don't have to buy it.
I fear that you're expectations are too high, you'll soon be waving your right arm in the air shouting incomprehendable English with the only word understandable being "twat"Royalee wrote:Because this is the new era! Can you back up that claim?Terminal Boardom wrote:If you mean fully hooped that the hoops go round the back of the shirt? Forget it. Wont happen. FL regs want the backs plain for the numbers.
Indeed, just another lie from RFC to it's fans a few years ago when questioned about it. Load of utter nonsense which is why Sunderland have continued with the stripes and QPR with their hoops to name 2.Dirk Gently wrote:I'd be happy to bet any amount of money you want to wager on that.....Terminal Boardom wrote:If you mean fully hooped that the hoops go round the back of the shirt? The Premier League also has no such ruling.Ian Royal wrote:I thought they'd said they were doing it so they were ready for the Premier League if we made it? Admittedly given we then had a new kit for then that wasn't exactly truthful.
Happy to be stood corrected.
Did i thave one a few years ago though ?Alan Partridge wrote:The Premier League also has no such ruling.Ian Royal wrote:I thought they'd said they were doing it so they were ready for the Premier League if we made it? Admittedly given we then had a new kit for then that wasn't exactly truthful.

Sunderland's back of shirt has always had the full stripes,it was a load of rubbish made up as a reason as to why Reading's couldn't. It was just Reading's choice to have a panel, why they had to lie about it I dunno.Sun Tzu wrote:Did i thave one a few years ago though ?Alan Partridge wrote:The Premier League also has no such ruling.Ian Royal wrote:I thought they'd said they were doing it so they were ready for the Premier League if we made it? Or had clubs been advised that such a rule (or a recomendation) was being considered ?
I have no idea ! But then I'm not that fussed about whether the hoops go right round or not....
