Whilst the complete opposite of my general view on this stuff (women have to be believed, convictions far too low etc), the frequency of allegations against high profile sports stars carries an implication that simply by dint of being wealthy and well known, you become a sexual predator. And I just don't believe that.

It doesn't help, of course, that in the case of incidents that are proven, or at least evidenced, like Mason Greenwood's documented abuse, cases get dropped because the victim feels pressured, or it seems in Greenwood's case, the victim is so abused that she'd rather retain her lifestyle than regain her dignity.
