Must admit, it's won me over also. Looks great and not at all as many thought when they heard of the colours chosen.

My 11 year old has it and it's the mutts nuts. It definitely grows on you.

Am I the only one who, when they first saw the pictures of the shirt, thought 'God that's oxf*rd awful'?

Now I've seen people wearing them around the Madejski I have to say my first thoughts have just been confirmed.

Seriously can't believe how so many people think it looks good.

Kyocera's own football club Kyoto Purple Sanga has won the play off match yesterday and promoted to Japanese Football League Division One (J1).
New season of J1 will start from next March, and I am kind of hoping that Kyocera might arrange some sort of friendly match between Royals and Sanga in near future.
Or, can Royals send one or two young player to Sanga as a loan?
Japan is 12hours away by the flight. Yes, it is very far away compare to Bournemouth.

Saw Blackburn v Arsenal on TV last night.

Arsenal were wearing hoops without a panel on the back, and Blackburn don't have a panel either - just split blue and white.

So, either we could have hoops, or these teams have a different shirt for non-Premiership games, which sounds rather unlikely.

Come on RFC - let's have proper hoops next season!

yeh but every year we have had non-hooped backs weve done well (getting promoted and getting to 8th) so we cant change that tradition now.

Exactly. The type of sponsor they are wanting to attract won't be interested if we are relegated and so won't commit until Prem football is guaranteed next season (I still think we'll be there, but obviously it's not guaranteed yet).

I've sent them a letter. I'll sponsor the shirts for Â£45 quid, no matter where we're playing next season.

Obviously the contract, and cheque, will be for Â£45. And I'll expect my own shirt for that

I've submitted my request for a new shirt design, with hoops running all the way round. And white shorts.
