Added on added on time penalty because of a 'handball' which was impossible to get the ball to travel that far..yet according to fdtw this is not corruption  :|

Its clear as oxf*rd day the spfl are bribing the refs and var and getting celtic to win

Just wanted final day drama, there was no conclusive proof that was handball, he was only at the screen 10 fcuking seconds.

Clear header in the 97th minute when 5 were added on.

It would be great if Hearts won the league and I hope they do, even though i can't see it happening now.

However, I've just seen a still and it clearly hits the hand of the Motherwell player, and is a penalty.

I`ve seen it too, yes I agree, can only assume the ref had a better image than we had, in real time it certainly looked like it came off his head.

I've not even seen the incident so how can you claim I said there isn't corruption.

The only thing I've commented on is your farcical assertion that the draw was fixed to give Celtic home advantage which was patent bollocks given the previous fixtures this season. You even conceded that point.

Having now looked at the footage, it clearly struck his hand.

There's been a lot of criticism from all sides of the way VAR is used in the SPL.

For all the conspiracy theorists, what is the motivation for the powers that be to fix the title for Celtic? A Hearts win would be the best thing to happen to Scottish domestic football in about 40 years, and it's not like Old Firm would disappear into obscurity. It's like when Athletico started being a genuine 3rd power in Spain.

It's pure incompetence, and 2 tight calls have gone against Hearts in a week. Perhaps they get one in their favour on Saturday which becomes the defining moment.

I mean, that's his hand, isn't it?

It's a harsh one, but.

- Why the oxf*rd is his hand in the line of the ball.
- It looks like he handled it.
- This is football in a nutshell. Why can't we have nice things?

Do they only have one camera for Scottish VAR? Its one of those where you think seeing it from another angle might give a better view.
The Scottish pundits last night were hardly unbiased in their opinions Chris Boyd at one point actually said "we're all Hearts here"... Given where his hand was I thought the ball had to have touched his hand even if it touched his head at the same time.
Also the whole it would go that far if it came off his hand would be true if his hand wasn't already on his head, its not like all the pace got taken off the ball by his hand moving back.

Nice to see VAR yet again clearing up contentious issues to vindicate its existence over allowing the match officials there at the time to make a decision.

Without VAR Arsenal and Celtic would not have got these big decisions overturned.
VAR , the friend of the big clubs?

Actually I don't buy into any conspiracy theory but feel a bit sorry for West Ham and really sorry for Hearts.

How do you jump with your hands by your side, and you can clearly see trusty moved in a way to trap his arm

Corruption worse then African elections

The VAR playback clearly shows it struck his hand. You can maybe argue against the use of VAR in those circumstances but that's a completely different issue.

Whilst I have consistently said that Celtic are the better team than Rangers with better players and play better football. it doesn't mean I support Celtic, that's an observation on the 2 teams that dominate that league.

If it I support any team in Scotland, it's Dunfermline. Go through this whole thread and find one post where I show any favouritism towards Celtic other than to compare the relative footballing merits of them and Rangers at any given time.

Also, as an aside, whether Celtic won or drew, it still doesn't significantly change the equation for final game, Celtic need to win, Hearts need to avoid defeat.

So you've gone from 'how can you say it hit his hand?' to 'clearly his hand was trapped there'.

It's unfortunate, it's harsh. But I can see why it has been given, and it was handball.

Fwiw, I don't think enough is being made of Ranger's capitulation. They had lost two league games all season, only to lose four in a row at the business end of it.
