Bristol City are top since they beat Forest 2-1.

So much for being 1st for the whole season

Fantastic win. Looked very solid whilst missing key players against one of the best teams in the league.

Cant ask for more.

What an outstanding win. We totally deserved that. Some fantastic individual performances. It’s been a long long time since we saw a Reading side fight like this.
Paunovic is going to have some serious selection problems after the break.

We had everything today. Good quality on the ball at times, defensively solid, hard working. Pressed well and defended in their half for lots of the 2nd half. With injuries too.

Without the crowd, you could hear the effort from the players. Cheering every throw and free kick at the end.

Big shouts out to Holmes, Aluko and Puscas; great performances in the circumstances. And 6 academy graduates featured too.

Don't want to get too excited after 2 games, but the way we've killed off the last 2 games shows a resilience we've been missing for years.

Morrison, Aluko and Meite the pick outs for me, but the performance across the pitch was superb from everyone

As already mentioned, Rinomhota and Laurent is a superb midfield two, compliment each other so well

Is that because you will be up all night waiting for Santa?

Snowflake Royal That's should be a red card for Chalobah. Off the ground, late, out of control.

It would have been in a Premier League game.
A great battling performance (even Aluko) where everybody was totally committed and the players all seemed to know what their roles were meant to be.
Onwards and upwards .
Perhaps those that were quick to write off the managerial appointment will start eating a bit of humble pie.

Aluko deserves MoM, great energy, skill.

Superb from Puscas and Morrison

Holmes looks like he could play already and will improve every game.

But frankly, the team deserved an 8+

I love the way we suddenly can play our way out of trouble. For me this is mostly down to the manager - he has changed their mentality, Aluko the prime example.

Absolutely delighted with that

To be missing so many players and to beat a team containing the likes of Sarr, Chalaboh and co is a real achievement. And not just sitting back and hanging on either

Big shout outs to the CBs CMs, Aluko and Puscas
