F-S are a possibility, and for the person who said that they wouldn't because of the type of product they sell etc. - what about Kyocera and what they sell?

Depends on if FSC think the global coverage of their name on a Reading shirt is worth it. My thinking is not, their main focus is in China currently anyway

People, particularly kids, like to display their loyalties with an up to date shirt. The RFC business knows this but, IMO, displays the greed and morals of a drug pusher in trying to exploit that to the absolute limit.

What's more, despite the high profile but extremely half-hearted attempts by the authorities to tackle the monopoly and price fixing on shirts, for all intents and purposes it still exists in the vast majority of cases.

Don't forget that Vodafone used to be the Manchester United shirt sponsors pre-Glazer, until fans' protests scared them off and they cancelled the contract - which was worth GBP9 million a year. Of course, we won't command anything like that level of sponsorship.

Vodafone ditched Man U because they wanted a bigger property with better coverage, hence they became a Champions League sponsor. Very little to do with any Glazer protests, was a much bigger strategic decision.

They will not go for Reading, trust me on that, far too small a property.

FYI, Reading's shirt will cost a sponsor circa £500k per season.

Chelsea have already unveiled their new kit for next season, anyone know if we're close to doing the same?

I know traditionally we don't do anything like this early, but there is a 50% sale on at the moment on all training wear so wondered if anyone had heard anything.

Also, anything on the new sponsor? The club are keen to shift what we have left of Kyocera sponsored clothing so a new batch of everything is close.

Don't be silly, they'll say that they'll be in the shops (sorry, shop) first week of August, but then they'll have a mysterious problem with the supplier and it'll be middle to end of September before they get any in.
