Back in the Durie/Dixon days when I started supporting Chelsea, red trim was always on the Chelsea kits.

Sorry to be a bit anal but they also wore an all blue kit in those days aswell. Only went back to white socks in 90s in Gullit / Hoddle days.

Generally yes.

Nike's kits piss all over everyone else though. There's a simplicity of design, that nicely honours a club's history evident in pretty much every Nike kit, that Adidas don't get close to.
