Are you SCIAG in disguise?Once upon a time . wrote:Not a bad performance , this team can play , but it’s obvious to anybody that they need someone who can put the ball in the net . Is Andy Carroll still available ?
Yes but VP only ever plays in 1 formation so only needs 1 striker so it’s not a priority for him until Puscas gets crocked.tidus_mi2 wrote:Big oxf*rd failure of Pauno who had weeks to find a striker after Joao and Meite got injured and he signed about 3 oxf*rd midfielders.
No wonder we aren't scoring goalsCountryRoyal wrote:Averaging 1 shot on target in the last 3 games.

Leave it out kid. The team are struggling. Your posts, at best, are woeful and tiring (and I am being kind). I said our team have no backbone and we seem to have way too many injuries. If you don't like that, or accept it, TOUGH. It is a fact. It is a forum. Folks are allowed to express thier views. Stop being a plank and go back to licking windows.NathStPaul wrote:You're a really thick bloke, aren't you?Barney wrote:Read the following dozen pages BOYNathStPaul wrote: Early candidate for worst team board post of the night.
To anyone over the age of 12 and not on Twitter we were never “playoff hopefuls”.Elm Park Kid wrote:That game could have gone either way but we didn't catch a single break. Hard to blame anyone in particular when the squad is so thread-bare and a manager who can't talk to players face to face. Maybe as commentators suggested, we should have gambled with subs earlier rather than leave on players who were clearly dead on their feet. But not many managers take risks with non-squad players.
It's extremely disappointing that in the space of 14 days we've gone from play-off hopefuls even with a points deduction to very much relegation battlers when it finally hits. I don't feel any particular anger towards anyone at the club over this - the manager has to take responsibility, but he's not exactly been played the best hands.

I would ordinarily agree with Ian and play Laurent at CB but then who plays at CDM as I think Drinkwater has to be dropped?
Either way I would bring in Holmes and drop Drinkwater.
It could have gone either way up to the 60 min mark, but after that there was only going to be one winner. And we just stood there and let it happen.Elm Park Kid wrote:That game could have gone either way but we didn't catch a single break. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. Pauno would stick with this turgid 4-2-3-1 even if it relegates us. We could be in the last game of the season, needing a win to stay up in a game we are behind in, and he’d still swap one striker for the other.Zip wrote:Zip wrote:This does look like a scrappy 1-0 home win to me.

Sadly the outcome was oh so predictable.
I fully expect another defeat on Saturday. I’m hoping for a miracle but I just can’t see it.
It has to be last chance saloon for Pauno because he is taking us down.
He has drawn a short straw with the points deduction but the squad is just an unfit, injury prone mess. The unfitness is at his door. The level of injuries is ridiculous. I don’t believe it’s just bad luck. Conditioning of the players has to be questioned. It’s not acceptable to say they are too tired because they are playing all the time. That’s bollocks. Swift is the only ever present.
Every game we fall away in the second half and no changes are made. FFS bring on the youngsters to give the side fresh legs. Azeez and Ashcroft have come into the side and been fine. Just leaving it until the opposition score and then being too timid to play Clarke and Puscas up front when we need a goal is pathetic.
I was shocked at how weak we were v Blackpool. I thought then we were in a relegation battle. Now I’m certain of it. Wr are in deep trouble.
Or two goals up before the 70 minute mark.tidus_mi2 wrote:Simple fact right now is we need to be at least a goal up before the hour mark or we inevitably lose the game.
