renewal deadline was 28th, I just logged on to the website, went to the ST page and called the number in massive font at the top of the page. No probs.bobby1413 wrote:How did you get one - didn't think they were available for newbies till Wednesday?Ian Royal wrote:Just officially become an STH. A slightly dissapointing twelve thousand ish renewed and expecting about twelve and a half to thirteen thousand by the start of the season according to the guy I spoke to.
12000? That's pretty rubbish tbh, expected more!
I also think a lot of people are keeping their powder dry for the moment. They know they'll be able to buy tickets for any games they want to go to, and if the first half of the season looks promising they'll pile in to buy half STs at Xmas.Ian Royal wrote:renewal deadline was 28th, I just logged on to the website, went to the ST page and called the number in massive font at the top of the page. If we had fewer renewed last time I guess it's not that bad. The whole club to me feels very exciting right now, so I'm surprised it isn't a little better. Although I guess loads of STHs didn't actually turn up last season it was so bad, judging from the empty seats.
Add to that I believe that there were a number of Companies that bought ST's for entertainment in the Premier League that probably haven't renewed (also explaining the number of empty seats at some games).Ian Royal wrote:renewal deadline was 28th, I just logged on to the website, went to the ST page and called the number in massive font at the top of the page. Yea but I was told by the club I can't buy a new ST until Wednesday when they go to general sale :-/Ian Royal wrote:renewal deadline was 28th, I just logged on to the website, went to the ST page and called the number in massive font at the top of the page. Nice to see there's a consistent message.Judge Drenthe wrote:I asked the TO today if they knew roughly how many season tickets had been renewed and they said approximately 13,000 currently, and they anticipate a total sale of 14,000-14,500 once the tickets have gone on general sale.
If we can get to 14k that will be impressive IMO.Judge Drenthe wrote:I asked the TO today if they knew roughly how many season tickets had been renewed and they said approximately 13,000 currently, and they anticipate a total sale of 14,000-14,500 once the tickets have gone on general sale.
Well to be fair they're only estimations. In the Prem we sold our maximum 18,000, and they expect around 4,000-4,500 drop away. Might be more, might be less. They'll all be clambering for half season tickets in January if we're in the top two anyway.winchester_royal wrote:If we can get to 14k that will be impressive IMO.Judge Drenthe wrote:I asked the TO today if they knew roughly how many season tickets had been renewed and they said approximately 13,000 currently, and they anticipate a total sale of 14,000-14,500 once the tickets have gone on general sale.
Surprised anyone's being allowed to give out any info at the moment though tbh
I was at the club at around 3pm moving my seat and was told 'around 12,500' STs had been sold so far.Judge Drenthe wrote:I asked the TO today if they knew roughly how many season tickets had been renewed and they said approximately 13,000 currently, and they anticipate a total sale of 14,000-14,500 once the tickets have gone on general sale.
So "approximately 13,000 currently" is approximately then.. or did you want the chap I spoke to to do a full count whilst the queues grew outside?M Brook wrote:I was at the club at around 3pm moving my seat and was told 'around 12,500' STs had been sold so far.Judge Drenthe wrote:I asked the TO today if they knew roughly how many season tickets had been renewed and they said approximately 13,000 currently, and they anticipate a total sale of 14,000-14,500 once the tickets have gone on general sale.
Rounding to the nearest 500 > than rounding to the nearest 1000.Judge Drenthe wrote:So "approximately 13,000 currently" is approximately then.. or did you want the chap I spoke to to do a full count whilst the queues grew outside?M Brook wrote:I was at the club at around 3pm moving my seat and was told 'around 12,500' STs had been sold so far.Judge Drenthe wrote:I asked the TO today if they knew roughly how many season tickets had been renewed and they said approximately 13,000 currently, and they anticipate a total sale of 14,000-14,500 once the tickets have gone on general sale.
