It'd never work!weybridgewanderer wrote:Here's an idea, why not stick a hotel next to the ground and have a bar in it
That way its used all year and on the odd occasion there is football game (what 30 days out of 365) the fans could use it?
or how about we stick a bar/restaurant in the home end somewhere, just for our own supporters?
Def agree with the above.. Blue lighting would look ace on match evenings & some iconic images around the stadium would give us some talking points!rob the royal wrote:I know this is mainly about food and drink but following from the title of the thread...
I don't know what anyone else thought but those massive pictures that Brighton had of former players round the back of their stadium was quite cool. It's just copying someone else but who cares? I'd stick a load of those around the back of the east stand for a start.
Also on either side of the two roads leading up to the stadium a pair of replica Forbury Lions would look pretty impressive.
Because in fairness apart from a few flags outside the club shop, the odd poster and the "bricks in the wall" the place has always been a bit lacking (like most out of town new stadiums)...

Not sure if entrusting football fans with golf clubs and golf balls close to the ground is a sound move.who are ya? wrote:How about crazy golf
I think the pie and mash shop is of the highest priority tbf.Stuka wrote:The situation could be dramatically improved with some minor developments:

Doesn't have to be a bowling alley. Could be an giant aquarium, zoo, theme park, anything!
