Has a precedent ever been set? Not sure that allowing 2 tickets per season ticket holders is the fairest way to divide up the tickets. There are a lot of genuine fans that live away from the area and are unable to get to games every week. 2 per season ticket holder would effectively leave 4000 tickets for those with the royalty points and it would mean a lot of day trippers would get tickets, as mates of season ticket holders.

You can guarantee that whatever the club does people will moan though.

We've got about 12,200 season ticket holders.. 2 each seems good and then Royalty points should be used. Having been at every cup game I'd also vote for free tickets for the few who went to Huddersfield !
Already getting texts from people wanting me to get them tickets, so a repeat of 9 per STH would be nice, but ridiculous.

No, they will have given STH priority over general sale.

1 per STH still leaves 19,000 tickets and we don't have that many people with significant numbers of Royalty points who aren't STH.
Everyone with decent levels of points will get a ticket, anyone without points really can't complain.

Fingers crossed I'd be in a position to get a ticket with both eventualities but cant see the merits in offering 2 per season ticket! as you say it prioritises season ticket holders mates. If they deserve a ticket then they'd have the points.

See above, your point ignores the fact that those with points would still get tickets.

Should be 1 per ST then royalty points - but you should be able to reserve a ticket if you want to wait for m8s. That way you can still sit together but you don't get left in different parts of the ground.

I'm sure a lot of people with points would be a ST holder's +1 anyway. So by doing 2 per ST, then points, would cover the majority. Whereas 1 per ST, then points, would leave shit loads for general sale.

See above. Someone with 2500 points would easily get a ticket even if STH get 2 each.
If STH get 1 each the process will be horrendous. I have 3 ST but 5 tickets needed. We have plenty of points but would probably have to wait until points sales , as a lot of STH would.
The simple maths says there are enough points to ensure STH can have 2 and probably those with 500 would still be guaranteed tickets.
I recall we have around 30,000 members but loads will be duplicates, zero points etc.
