I still have my '106' Convey shirt!! I shall be wearing it tomorrow in support of the great man! Amazing he had the career he did considering his health issues then. So sad to hear they still cause him trouble now. Great reading on here how fondly remembered he is! A class act on and off the field!

Only thought about him a week or so ago when I backed a horse called Convey who won at Lingfield at 7/1.
One of my favourite players who got me out of my seat when he had the ball at his feet.

This one, loved him as a member of that team. Damn they were good. Total polar of what our current system is, soak it up then bang!

That goal v Millwall is the first thing I think of whenever I think of him.

Real shame to hear about his health deteriorating and hope he recovers fully and is able to manage the condition long term.
