Was thinking that it seemed like a lot of games. Maybe hes going to test the youngsters a lot. Really push em.Simon's Church wrote:Another game uk to be announced too, they're really packing them in.
Hopefully not pushing them too hard and ending up with a load of injuries.
You maybe think that they might not be the same people? I, for one, never mentioned a lack of preseason games. Also I'm not complaining that there is too many. I'm merely surprised that there is so many. It's a different approach.Hendo wrote:People yesterday were complaining there wasn't any pre-season games (because they hadn't been announced) and apparently Jose had mentioned 10 at the end of last season, but now there is too many? my guess would be yes for Chelsea, no for Peterboro.morganb wrote:Does anyone know if the F1 bus runs for friendly fixtures at the Madejski
Should do it, be practice for when Reading get regular European football.madreadingfan wrote:For anyone who isn't aware, Sevilla is open to fans to attend. I'm tempted...
Wouldn’t be surprised to see something like this on Saturday:Hound wrote:the earlier games, the players will just play 45 mins and swap at h/t. Won't be too demanding
I’d say 6 is the normal number. One every Saturday in July and a couple of midweek ones. You don’t want too many to lead to fatigue but you need enough to get match fitNewCorkSeth wrote:You maybe think that they might not be the same people? without double checking, think thats exactly the line up JLow suggested. Only question mark for me would be Kelly or an U23 - East did play ahead of him last year.URZZZZ wrote:Wouldn’t be surprised to see something like this on Saturday:Hound wrote:the earlier games, the players will just play 45 mins and swap at h/t. Walker
Watson
Moore
McIntyre
Blackett
Kelly
Rino
Meite
Swift
Barrow

With the second half being people like Howe, Richards, Osho, Holmes, East, Barrett, Olise, Novakovich
A half decent team, the only weak area would be Kelly in CM, would like to see Olise in there somewhere as if feel this kid will be our breakout star this season. Some of his plays against Birmingham where pure raw talent.Hound wrote:without double checking, think thats exactly the line up JLow suggested. The second half team is basically our previous U23 side.
