According to Transfermarkt, 80% of his apps are on the left wing. So appears to be a direct, pacy winger. Which we don't have. Could be a good option off the bench if a game is tight.South Coast Royal wrote:Have seen him a few times for Rangers and IIRC he is an industrious midfielder rather than a flying winger type such as Ryan Kent.
With Aaron Ramsey having signed they are quite overloaded in midfield so now surplus to requirements.
Obviously not what we expected but with TDB, Drinkwater and Halilovic not offering much and Ejaria endlessly ill/injured he might bring something to the team in terms of energy and commitment.
Presumably there is some link with Rangers ( Ejaria) and he would have been out of contract in the Summer so any addition is welcome
Is he our first Brandon?.
Rangers fans think they are an important club in a quaLOLity league, not bothered what they thinkPATRIQT wrote:Rangers fans think he's tosh, and if you're tosh in a substandard league like that then he'll be garbage in the Championship. He might be useful in League One next season tho.
Rangers are better than us though so he might be good enough for us.PATRIQT wrote:Rangers fans think he's tosh, and if you're tosh in a substandard league like that then he'll be garbage in the Championship. He might be useful in League One next season tho.
Remind me what their opinion of Ejaria wasSouthDownsRoyal wrote:Rangers fans think they are an important club in a quaLOLity league, not bothered what they thinkPATRIQT wrote:Rangers fans think he's tosh, and if you're tosh in a substandard league like that then he'll be garbage in the Championship. If it was that he flatters to deceive, is overrated and very rarely shows any brilliance they’d be spot on for me.SouthDownsRoyal wrote:Franchise FC wrote:Remind me what their opinion of Ejaria wasSouthDownsRoyal wrote:

What was it
The same as ours. Can be great on his day but for the most part he goes missing and is a luxury.Franchise FC wrote:Remind me what their opinion of Ejaria wasSouthDownsRoyal wrote:Rangers fans think they are an important club in a quaLOLity league, not bothered what they thinkPATRIQT wrote:Rangers fans think he's tosh, and if you're tosh in a substandard league like that then he'll be garbage in the Championship. Just when are we going to learn?

Popa we brought in as a complete unknown on a massive contract
This chap we’ve picked up for free and given him a few months on is suspect a small wage
Snowflake Royal wrote:Only problem with this signing is that:
a) it's not a position we lack depth I think it is, tbh. We don't really have a pacey direct winger, apart from Meite and maybe Hoilett who are regularly available and have experience at this level. All the rest are inside forwards, such as Ovie, Ince and Hal
c) we should be very careful with signings because of our squad and financial limitations We would've had to get approval from EFL for this signing, so imagine that has been taken into consideration and he would be on a very small wage for a very small amount of time. Say he is on £5k/week, he is effectively on a 12 week contract, that is only a total of £60,000 - hardly going to break the bank.
b) it's clearly just a distraction from the manager question this is bollocks
Nothing to do with whether he's any good or not.
Whether he adds a slightly different style or not isn't the question imo. We have Meite, Hoilett, Ince, Azeez, Camara and Ejaria already. Plus we just handed Abrefa a debut there.Hendo wrote:Snowflake Royal wrote:Only problem with this signing is that:
