01 Sep 2023 16:41Agreed! Just Celtic left (presumably because they haven't had to play any qualifiers!). After trouncing Hibernian I take it Villa must be in the comedy left over European competition?paultheroyal wrote:What a terrible effort from the Scottish clubs this year to get into Europe.

01 Sep 2023 16:43Not a great effort but you have to bear in mind that Rangers are top Championship standard at best and the likes of Aberdeen , Hibs and Hearts are only about top League 1 standard so the outcomes have been hardly unexpected.paultheroyal wrote:What a terrible effort from the Scottish clubs this year to get into Europe.

04 Oct 2023 11:41Definite promise from Hojlund but there should be for what he cost and up against Sanchez might not be the hardest test based on his Spurs performances in recent years.Sanguine wrote:Must admit that where I thought United had spent far too much on a raw, young player, I'm beginning to consider getting on the Hojlund hype-train. He was electric last night.
And slightly nuts for a player of his talent that at 30 years old, Wilfried Zaha has only made his European debut this season for Galatasaray, and last night, got his first goal in European competition.

05 Oct 2023 14:39I'm watching it this year because of the deal EE were doing on my phone contract. What's kind of interesting* is that I can watch it on my TV using the Discovery+ app. But the Discovery+ app using the same login on the SkyQ box doesn't have the TNT channels. Guess its Sky trying to make sure you pay them for a subscription rather than BT.Brogue wrote:Used to live watching CL just can’t justify paying the ludicrous amount for BT/TNT such a shame.
