I'm just relieved he didn't go for Bon Jovi.
Dr Alban shurely?
Both

Besides, Sutekh doesn't strike me as a fan of Swedish Europop.
It could be worse, maybe because a couple of my pals went to see Foreigner the other week I've been workshopping

In Malife, there's been heartache and pain

Not convinced the kids in the South Stand would get it to work

I want to know what promotion on a sustainable budget is.

Surely The Beatles' In My Life is the obvious choice.

There seems to be more thought going into the signings so far, which bodes well. Still need a striker and CAM, though. And they will be tough to nail (any noise about Doyle coming back?).
Think it’s in line with January though as far as permanent signings go. Ward and Roberts plus we would’ve had Lisbie then anyway.

How it transpires is anyone’s guess as always but I think the thought process has been solid from January.

Definitely agree with a new striker, while it might be an unpopular opinion I think we need someone who can replace Marriott and be the first choice striker, even if he doesn't score as much, if he can set up more goal involvements for the wingers or the AM I think it would be a step up, just don't think Marriott will continue the form he had while fit last season.

That's 1.25 million already on transfer fee's and for a Div. 1 club that's a pretty impressive sum of money and any fan complaining really needs his head looking at. It's pretty much freebies and a few loanee's from hereon in i expect.

Fine with that, there’s always bargains to be had if you’re astute in the marketplace, i presume any striker will then take up what the club eventually gets for Savage though.

I think clubs were willing to offer 800,000 earlier in the year for Savage and we were holding out for 1.2 million. Now we are further on then 1 million would be considered good money with that split between us and Man.U would give us good funds for a striker.

Noone is complaining......The signings look decent......it's the bloke who decides where and how they play that's the issue.

We have spoken on here about this before -the annoyance at not knowing the fee involved for a transfer.
"Undisclosed fee" always smacks of a bit of dodgy dealing-why not just come out with it?

What is the actual justification for an ‘undisclosed’?….the deal is already done.

Or is it to reduce the pressure put onto the player at his new club?……..no, not me neither

Or is there a pathway for a tax-dodge in there somewhere?

Like VAR, get rid, football was better without it

Heard it said that one reason that clubs involved won’t necessarily want figures disclosed is that when they go into other dealings with other clubs they don’t particularly want how much funding that they may or may not have known. A second reason why is that it prevents undue pressure on the player. Thirdly there’s probably some accounting reason why it’s done. Seems nearly every deal outside the top level is “undisclosed”. Looking forward to Ady repeating his rant about it as he does every season.

kind’ve get the partial justification in the first point, the rest is bs.
Just get rid, everybody has to declare their dealings, it’ll equal out.
