My thoughts as well, I'd be concerned if he was blocking 1st team opportunities for our youngsters but I'm not convinced any of them are ready so if it allows them to go out on loan, that's probably the ideal scenario.

This 100%, he was well liked by the Gillingham fans and i believe their player of the season before he got injured.
