May not look quite as good after it has been covered 'over the next few days'. I suspect newly grown grass benefits from a reasonable amount of daylight!

The things they put down have holes in anyway so the pitch gets a fair bit of sunlight.

OK, it was a bit like this, but without the stripes and logo:

Sorry, I could only concentrate on one thing at a time, otherwise there could have been trouble - I can see the headlines now...
Does anyone now why the set of stairs from the round about up to the road behind the east stand were removed(bottom left)

Beacuse they were a health and safety nightmare - especially in the dark and wet at evening games. One prson slipping on them would have meant a massive domino effect.

Those stairs were an Ibrox disaster waiting to happen.

That happened loads at Elton John to the women with high heels. Can't see it being much of a problem this time round though as most people on the pitch will be teens, late twenties really and will have suitable footware on.

I have heard that parts of the pitch have gone brown, this maybe because of the Red hot chilli peppers concert or maybe
because its just been laid.

...Interesting that the club felt the need to tell us about the "new" pitch, and provide pictures leading up to the concert. Nothing since.... :?

Nice try Terminal! However, just a bit too close to the Press Conference one to catch me for a second time!! :D

Mind you, just how much spare time have you got on your hands if you can hunt around for all of these old threads?

The pitch on Saturday looked emaculate bar a square in front of the North Stand goal. Is this tactical? or are the egg-chasers training there? or was the grass just cut at a funny angle. anyone else notice?

Square at the other end same place too.

Might be that the turf everywhere else was just got up to standard, while the goalmouths were relaid again. It is the spot that cust up most and worst afterall.
