What if RL was irritated by them - and they don't realise how irritating they are?Baines wrote:[
Instead of just leaving them to it, you thought that you would say something which challenged them. Hence - you are one of those people who don't realise how irritating they are.

How curious. No dislike, merely pointing out where you went wrong so that you can avoid the situation in the future. I am surprised that you haven't thanked me.Royal Lady wrote:It's ok. Without wanting to be added to your 'but he's taken a dislike to me and my family list' I don't think Baines has said anything to provoke that reaction.Royal Lady wrote:It's ok. I think there's a slight difference between a bit of banter on here and some eye bulging moron screaming into your face from a few inches away that he's going to punch you out if you say another word.Hoop Blah wrote:Without wanting to be added to your 'but he's taken a dislike to me and my family list' I don't think Baines has said anything to provoke that reaction.Royal Lady wrote:It's ok. For someone that dishes out banter quite freely, and spends as much time on here as you do, you take the odd comment to heart a bit too much. Baines is just pointing out a few possibilities, you shouldn't be so defensive about it.
Sorry, by 'the odd comment', I thought you were referring to the morons at the stadium.Hoop Blah wrote:Without wanting to be added to your 'but he's taken a dislike to me and my family list' I don't think Baines has said anything to provoke that reaction.Royal Lady wrote:It's ok. I, very obviously, wasn't saying that you aren't entitled to voice your opinion, simply that on occasions there will be times when you might prefer not to do so. My second post on the subject highlighted the concern that, if someone is very angry and you choose to challenge him as to the justification of that anger, an obvious consequence will be that that anger is then redirected to you - particularly if you had irritated them in some way either in the course of that challenge, or during the game.Schards#2 wrote:I think there's a slight difference between a bit of banter on here and some eye bulging moron screaming into your face from a few inches away that he's going to punch you out if you say another word.Hoop Blah wrote:Without wanting to be added to your 'but he's taken a dislike to me and my family list' I don't think Baines has said anything to provoke that reaction.Royal Lady wrote:It's ok. There was a certain irony that his two points were, firstly, he's entitled to voice his opinion that Shorey'd a c**t and should oxf*rd off and, secondly, if I exercise my right to voice another word of MY opinion, he's going to spark me out.
Not quite clearly enough then....I thought he was apologising to me.Royal Lady wrote:Schards quite clearly apologised that he had misread your earlier post. I have no desire to continue any more about this. If you find me irritating on here, I suggest you ignore any posts by me in the future. Though, of course, with me having to return to work tomorrow, my posting will now be few and far between.
Sometimes you dont half interject with some dumb stuff.Royal Lady wrote: Some men don't like women.
Just so you know, they've already received one letter warning them about their behaviour apparently, therefore, it is perfectly feasible that if I did complain about them, they could well have their ST revoked. THE END.Dr Hfuhruhurr wrote:Sometimes you dont half interject with some dumb stuff.Royal Lady wrote: Some men don't like women.
Which may just be the case with this incident.
Personally I find that Im not going to get much of a conversation out of someone who is screaming 'c*nt' at someone, so quite why you expected anything else than what you got out of your interjection here, christ alone knows. You really dont have to get involved in everything, sometimes saying nothing is infinitely better than saying something.
And you might report them - but that doesnt mean that their ST will get revoked. You're not the Goddess of The Madejski Stadium, whatever you think.
