To be fair to Lampard it was a very soft sending off but he's still a jumped up ar$e who thinks far too highly of himself.

Apparently the Ref told him, Terry & co that he was sent off because the lino saw him slap Boa Morte in the face. It'll be interesting to see what the ref does after the seeing the video evidence or if this is another case of Terry and co misquoting the ref.

Did the ref give a foul for Makelele's tackle? If so, that fact that the FA have done nothing else menas that the ref mentioned the tackle in his report and (probably) stated that he didn't think it warranted any further action.
