Yeah I'd go with that too. With the away end then taking the whole South Stand onmce again, average gates around 19,000 - 20,000.

My guess would be around 14000, too - with around a 17000-18000 average attendance for the season (although that will depend on how well we do, obviously). If we're looking certain to go back up again, expect the half-season ticket offer to sell-out.

I'll renew if we go down but if we stay up then no chance. I hate the pemiership and the greed that it has created. Having said that I really hope they don't get relegated.

Hijacking the thread a little bit here, but as Im off to uni next year, I would prefer to have an away season ticket and not renew my home one as I can't afford it, is this possible?

Yes it will be, what I meant was I can't afford both like I have done over previous years, and because away days are better, I only want an away season ticket for next year. But yeah I would be surprised if that wasn't possible

Yeah I'll more than likely renew whatever happens as I can afford it and I enjoy the day around the game as much as if not more than the game (certainly this season).

Only way I wouldn't is if they take the pi$$ on price ie an increase if we stay up or no or very little decrease if we drop.

IIRC, in the East the adult price was £360 for renewals and £375 for new STH's.

what a good memory you have. North renewal was £300 or £325 for new ones. Some sad git saved it all, odd how it all became the same after promotion, North got kinda shafted IMHO

More likely to renew if we go down, just because there is more chance of a reducton in price. This season hasn't been remotely close to value for money, I think I've actually enjoyed about 4 games.

Thats more than me! I've only enjoyed 2 games this season, and they weren't that special, the wins over Sunderland and Brum.

I can't help but feel I enjoyed the Championship games more, and thats despite the fact that there were times when i used to moan at the performance after the game, even if we'd won. Back then i went for the entertainment more than anything else, whereas nowadays the result seems to be the only thing that matters.

Woohoo!!! Just got my pay slip for last month and I've done enough overtime to more than pay for my season ticket renewal even after tax. Beautiful I tells thee. I'm doing overtime today, so now in the mood to just say stuff it and go home. Don't need to be here at the moment... But then every hour I stay will go towards funding another away day I guess.

Pity those who don't live in the Reading area and also face significantly increased costs to travel to games too!

Despite me apparently wrongly claiming a recession, there will be numerous people already feeling the pinch of crazy levels of inflation that are hitting life's essentials and others deciding to play safe for fear of what the financial future holds.

What is needed is talk of substantial investment in the playing squad, a glorious season and promotion to the PL at the end!

It certainly seems to be working at QPR. Despitethe club ripping off their longstanding fans really big time in terms of season ticket prices (they even have the cheek to levy a £3.50 credit card surcharge and add £5 for delivery ! ) amazingly all the Rangers fans I know are rushing out to renew 'for fear of missing out on a really good season'!!
