Great news, i agree that over all we dont fare well in games when the whole south stand is giving to away supprters! Lets just hope we sell them!

Anyway I'm glad the club have opened up this section to Royals fans rather than giving it to Wolves. The fewer fans they have there the better!

At the moment looks like there are still loads of seats left. I'm with you I really want us to fill it out. I'm just gutted I'd already bought my ticket as I'm low down Y21-ish which is far inferior to anywhere I like on the south stand. Come on you last-minute-deal-lovers you, buy your tickets...

Not that astonishing, there is a lack of cash about, it may not be a lot for you, but £23 a ticket is a lot for many, especially if money is short after Xmas. And for many payday will be this thursday or friday.

Still it was about 8k more than Brum.

Plus the South Stand only went on sale to home fans a week or so ago, pending queries on whether Wolves would want it themselves. Plus a fair few tickets were sold to West Midlands inbreds and then cancelled, so were off-sale for a while.

Without wanting to get involved in anything I genuinely reckon we'd have sold more tickets last night if we had a 30K capacity. Obviously we'd ahve sold more to away fans for starters but I reckon the man in the street wouldn't have fancied their chances of getting a ticket last night yet they would if the stadium was bigger. Yep, I know exactlky what you mean - there is still a perception out there that it is difficult to get tickets for Reading home games - and amongst the type of people we need to be attracting as new supporters.

Lots of people were away on skiing holidays, Year 9s at Maiden Erlegh have exams and apparantly there is a serious out break of athlete's foot in Tilehurst - so the few gaps are easily explained.....
