If you're given enough evidence from your current club that you're not wanted, and your contract ends - telling that club that you want to leave isn't really much of a surprise to anyone. Conversely, a club telling you they're not going to renew your contract, kind of tells you they don't want you anyway.

As I said on another thread. I wouldn't miss him if he scores 30 for boro. A player with talent who was an awful fit here, had a terrible attitude and hadn't even done that well other than 2 periods about 2 months long in two different seasons.

Frankly you can take a long walk off a short pier if you think this is such a travesty. Because I think it's a travesty there are Reading fans thick enough to think we should have kept Lita.

What's the fuss? The interview clearly states that he wanted to leave the club 2 seasons ago. Probably explains why he didn't move to Sheff Utd last season as he wanted the club to gain nothing from him moving on. Personally, I wish Boro all the best with the tempramental git!
