A bit of an exaggeration more than anything else. Where this came from - I did watch the German - Italy Q-F (?) and for the last 15 minutes, a (drunk) friend of mine counted 1,2 .... 1,2,3 ... 1 .... and did not reach 4 more than once or twice (and never 5). It was very irritating but proved a point of sorts. An unlucky 15 minutes perhaps, especially for those of us present.Royal Rother wrote:I'd take issue with points made by both the last 2 posters - the suggestion that a women's team would give a League 1 a decent game is palpably nonsense, as is the suggestion that the top women's teams in Europe rarely create moves involving more than 3 players.
I can think of many a mens game I've watched that have had 15mins (or longer) of similar play.Starfish wrote:A bit of an exaggeration more than anything else.
